Triad was made an offer to sell their existing two-story facility and upon that sale, relocated the north Oklahoma City headquarters to a building designed by Triad and constructed in approximately ten months.

Extensive research and experimental computer modeling prefaced several versions of the new building before Triad’s architect working with firm partners determined a design with the character of art deco.

Through a value engineering study, decisions were made for a structure that would be spatially efficient, cost effective and easily adaptable to the architect/engineering firm’s growth. A design/build project with Clyde Riggs Construction, the 10,000 sq. ft. building included optional plans for future office space expansion to the east.

The office interior continues an art deco intent in furniture, furnishings and mill finished aluminum fixtures. Exterior brick is in subdued earthy tan and brown tones with 4” blue ceramic tile accents at the windows. Entry to the building features a grid canopy transitioning from light to shade as it casts a web of shadows against the exterior brick wall.
