YUKON POLICE STATION

Yukon Police Dept EOC Dispatch Cells

Triad's Architectural Division designed a 21st Century Police Station for the City of Yukon when the old 1970's Station and its later upgrades, all Triad designs, became insufficient for the needs of the growing community. All Yukon Police Department divisions, as well as the City's Emergency Operations Center, are now housed in one innovative facility. The fully secured EOC is designed to withstand tornadic winds up to 250 mph and features control stations to ensure continuation of vital city services. Advanced communication and mapping system software link the Dispatch Control Room with YPD patrol car computers and monitor EMS, fire, and police vehicles in the field.

Opened in 2008, the new Police Station was constructed adjacent to the old building, on the same site. Following a seamless transition into the new facility, the old station was demolished and replaced with an expanded, landscaped parking area.

Customized for the YPD, comprehensive police and crime prevention service areas include:

  • Emergency Operations Center
