OKLAHOMA TURNPIKE AUTHORITY

Triad provided design, construction management and on-site inspection for the Norman Spur, from the H.E. Bailey Turnpike and Sara Road intersection, extending southeast toward State Highway 76, then east to the intersection of US 62 and State Highway 9.  The Norman Spur, a well-traveled 8.2 mile extension near Newcastle, connects I-44 and SH 4 to SH 9 and provides a route to Norman, home of Oklahoma University.  The project required utility relocation, materials testing, right-of-way and design of three grading and drainage segments, three bridges and two surfacing segments.
