CITY OF YUKON, OKLAHOMA

Triad designed a new 4 million per gallon redundant final clarifier as part of staged improvements for the Yukon Waste Water Treatment Plant. Upgrades were needed to enhance the operation of the original 3 mgd aeration plant designed in the 1970's. The existing facility consists of a bar screen, screw pump, aeration basin, two 1.5 mgd final clarifiers, chlorine contact basin, belt press facility, and an emergency generator. With the new clarifier placed into operation in 2008, the two existing clarifiers will be rehabilitated.
